Going through food faster than usual?
Don't fret; this is normal when a bird goes through a molt, or the season of molt even if it didn't actually molt. During the end of molting season and the beginning of growing in new feathers it is completely normal for your bird to eat more. It needs more nutrition to grow in those new feathers! A lot of times this is when their beak goes through a growth spurt too! As well as their talons! Your bird's sudden hunger is a very good sign that it is healthy and wants to stay that way! [wink]
